There is one too common summer experience these days in the mountains. Forest fires and smoke. Occasionally however, we are blessed with an incredible sunrise or sunset that accompany them. As soon as I saw the sky beginning to change, I raced to the highest viewpoint I could get to before the sun set. The Space Needle is an Iconic feature of both Seattle and the PNW. It looked especially glorious overlooking the Olympic Mountains this Fall evening I’ll never forget.
